Invention of The Computers

Millions of people own and use computers everyday. But who invented computers? This post will answer that question, and also look at some interesting facts about computers.
Who Invented Computers
As computers are defined as machines that ‘manipulate data’ there is a lot of debate about who invented the first ‘computer’. The Abacus (invented about 5,000 years ago) was used in parts of Asia for counting, so it is technically a ‘computer’. The first ‘modern’ computer, the Z3, was invented by Konrad Zuse. The Z3 is considered the first modern computer as it is ‘Turing complete’ (a fancy way of saying that, in principle, the Z3 could perform any calculation that any other programmable computer could). So now you know who invented computers!
