Marlon Brando Movie List

Marlon Brando is considered to be one of, if not the, greatest actors of all time. He had a very hard childhood, both his parents were alcoholics, but used this to hone his acting skills. He began his career on Broadway, but decided to make film his focus in 1949. He was a big success in Hollywood from this time until the 1960′s. However, it was in the 60′s was when his career took a turn for the worst (for a variety of reasons) when many of his movies were failures and he was heavily criticized. His big comeback came with the top-grossing film of all time (up until that point) The Godfather, which relaunched his stardom. He was nominated for 8 Academy Awards and won 2 Oscars for best actor. Sadly he died in 2004, but will always be remembered for his contribution to film. The following is a list of movies that Marlon Brando acted in over his career.
