Queen Latifah, real name Dana Owens, is a celebrity actress, singer and rapper. She began her career beatboxing for hip hop group Ladies Fresh and it wasn’t long before she had released her first single. It didn’t take long for her to became one of the best known female hip-hop artists of all time. During this time she also forged a successful acting career. After a few successful supporting roles in the film and television industry she landed the lead role on the sitcom “Living Single.” The highlight of her acting career came in 2003 with a nomination for an Academy Award for her role in the movie “Chicago.” The following is a list of movies that Queen Latifah has acted in during her career so far.
