Wesley Snipes is a celebrity actor who got his big break at 23 years of age when he was discovered by a talent agent at a local competition. This led to his first movie role in the 1986 movie “Wildcats.” This led to many other small roles in movies and on television until he landed a larger role in the movie “Major League.” This launched his career and led to a string of box-office successes. He remained an in-demand actor until 2006 when he was charged with tax fraud. In 2010 he was convicted and is serving a prison sentence for failure to file U.S. federal income tax returns with an expected release in 2013.
