Christina Hendricks is a celerity actress best known for her work on
the hit television series “Mad Men.” However, her acting career began in
the late 90′s after deciding to pursue a career in modeling and acting.
She first came to the attention of audiences with a guest role in the
short lived series “Firefly.” The led to more important roles in film
and television, and in 2007 she became a household name with her role as
Joan Harris in “Mad Men.” This has led to 3 nominations for a Primetime
Emmy and a string of roles in film. It is still uncertain whether she
will make the transition to genuine film star, but for now she is
enjoying all the success that her television role has brought her. The
