Foods & Diets to Eat to Lose Weight


There are many people that will try and sell you diet pills or a ‘secret formula’ for losing weight. Unfortunately, these don’t work. To lose weight you need to exercise regularly and eat the right foods. This post will tell you the foods to eat to lose weight.

  • Eat foods that are high in fiber. These fill you up so that you will eat less.
  • Eat foods that are high in protein. Like high fiber foods, these fill you up so you will eat less.
  • Eat foods that are low in carbs.
  • Eat foods that have a high water content. Foods that are high in water have been proven to help promote weight loss. You should also drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
  • Eat more fresh vegetables. They are much better raw or steamed. Avoid fried vegetables.
  • Eat foods that are low in sodium. This lowers water retention.
  • Avoid eating any foods that are high in fat, high in calories or have lots of refined sugar.
  • Avoid eating snack foods. Just eat three good meals everyday.
  • Make sure you eat breakfast. It will kick start your metabolism.
  • Limit the amount you eat. Don’t go back for seconds!
