Ashley Benson was born on 18th December 1989 in Anaheim Hills, California, U.S. she is an American film and television actress and model. Ashley Benson was born and brought up in Anaheim Hills, California, U.S. She started dancing ballet, jazz, hip-hop and lyrical right from the age of 3. She also loves singing. She has taken part in many choir and musicals. When she was 4 years old she gave auditions to sing solo at four Christmas services for her 2,500 member church. She modeled for dance catalogs when she was 5 years old. When she was 8 years old she worked at The Ford Modeling agency. She has also performed in NLT's music video "That Girl". She pursued her acting career in 1999. After appearing in numerous commercials she started acting in movies and television. She signed a three year contract with daytime television series Days of our Lives in 2004. The other television series in which she has performed are The Girls Next Door, A Haunting, Sex and the City, Hero, Weird Astronomy, and Lucky. She has also acted in the movie 13 Going on 30 as one of the "Six Chicks". She has acted in ABC's 2009 television series Eastwick. The series is based on John Updike's novel "The Witches of Eastwick". She has played the role of Hanna Marin in the television series Pretty Little Liars based on the book series by Sara Shepard in 2009.
